Core Values

At Emmanuel Bible College our goal is to empower students to think, live, serve and lead in the world.  The on-campus residence provides an environment in which young women and men can grow.  The residence life emphasizes the importance of these core values:

Personal Growth

While on residence, students are encouraged to develop their gifts with integrity and focus. The Student Life team has created an environment on residence that will develop holistic growth. Students are challenged to develop physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally and are given the support they need.

Community Development

A strong community is essential to student success.  At Emmanuel Bible College there is a high standard for respect, honesty, and integrity within the residences. Students are to demonstrate acceptance, teamwork, and cooperation with one another as they live on campus, which will provide the skills needed to develop successful relationships in the future.

 Academic Focus

The purpose of Emmanuel Bible College is to equip men and women through academic course work. Therefore the residences are designed to ensure that each student is able to focus on their studies to the best of their ability. Students are encouraged to cooperate in maintaining a quiet and work focused environment where academic goals can be met.

 Spiritual Engagement

It is our prayer and hope that each student is able to grow spiritually in powerful ways while staying on residence. Close knit care groups, bible studies, residence wide worship, inspired chapels, and mentorship programs are all designed to foster a close walk with our Lord.

“May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”  Romans 15:5-6

"Inside each of us, because Christ lives there, are powers so strong, treasures so rich, possibilities so endless, that to command them all into action would change the history of the world." Unknown
